Expected Outcome

After achieving basic pre-reading and pre-writing skills emphasis is on age specific development in all subjects as per the curriculum. Interpersonal and social skills are the natural product of SELC.

Languages – Gaining competence in speaking and listening, and an avid desire to improve one’s vocabulary to better communicate thoughts and feelings.

Mathematics – Development of pre-maths skills like correspondence, number sense, shapes, comparison, matching, sorting etc

Science [Environmental and Stem] – An understanding of the environment and living beings. Salient features of natural and manmade settings.

Physical development – Healthy and well proportionate growth leading to co-ordinated movements, control and manipulative skills.

Judicious use of Audio Visual aids helps the children to remember concepts for longer periods of time. It helps widen their imagination and develops creativity. Visual strategies encompass diverse learners.

Prudent integration of technology into the classroom helps the kids experience things vicariously and also reinforces the difference between the real and virtual world.
